Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 3, 2026
This is the privacy policy for ScheduleHound, a service operated by Macrify LLC. We wrote this in plain English because we want you to actually understand it.
The most important thing: we cannot see your documents
When you upload a PDF to ScheduleHound, it is sent directly to Google's AI service for processing. We do not store the content of your uploaded documents. We do not read them. We do not keep copies. Once the AI finishes extracting deadlines, the document content is gone. We have no way to retrieve it.
We also do not use your documents to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI models. We exclusively use AI providers whose API terms prohibit using submitted data for model training. As of this writing, that means Google's Generative AI API, whose terms of service confirm that API inputs are not used to train their models.
What we do collect
We collect only what we need to run the service and keep your account working:
- Account information — your name and email address, provided by Google or Microsoft when you sign in. We use this to identify your account and enforce access controls.
- Usage data — each time you run an extraction, we record the file name, the number of AI tokens used, the number of deadlines found, and a timestamp. This lets us enforce usage limits and show you your account dashboard.
- Billing information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment details are handled entirely by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID, not your credit card number or bank details.
That's it. We do not collect analytics, tracking cookies, browsing behavior, IP addresses, or device fingerprints.
Third-party services we use
To make ScheduleHound work, we rely on a handful of third-party services. Here is exactly who they are and what they do:
- Google (authentication + AI + calendar) — Google handles sign-in via OAuth, processes your documents through the Generative AI API, and provides Google Calendar integration. Google's use of your data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Microsoft (authentication + calendar) — Microsoft handles sign-in via Azure AD and provides Outlook/Microsoft 365 calendar integration. Microsoft's use of your data is governed by Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
- Supabase (database) — Our database is hosted on Supabase. This is where your account information and usage logs are stored. Supabase servers are located in the United States.
- Vercel (hosting) — The ScheduleHound application is hosted on Vercel. Vercel serves the web pages and runs our server-side code. Vercel does not have access to your uploaded documents.
- Stripe (payments) — If you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe handles all payment processing. We never see or store your credit card number. Stripe's use of your data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Calendar access
If you choose to export deadlines to your calendar, we request permission to create events on your behalf. We only create events you explicitly choose to export. We do not read, modify, or delete your existing calendar events.
How long we keep your data
Your account information and usage logs are kept for as long as your account is active. If you want your data deleted, email us and we will remove your account and all associated data within 30 days. We may retain anonymized, aggregated statistics (like total extractions across all users) that cannot be tied back to you.
How we protect your data
All connections to ScheduleHound are encrypted with HTTPS. Authentication is handled by established providers (Google and Microsoft) — we never see or store your password. Database access is restricted to our application servers. We follow standard security practices, but no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
ScheduleHound is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to check back occasionally.
